stockholm may look idyllic at daytime, full of tourists and nice little stores, with an air that smells of the ocean and is filled with the sounds of the seagulls. but theodore knows better. theo is the one that keeps the city under control after the sunset. not many people knows that when the stores are closed and the sun has set the vampires, mummies and all other creatues that are afraid of the dark shows up. together with max, the police, and felicia, the neighbours kid, theo keeps the streets calm. not just in stockholm, but in all of sweden, and perhaps even the world.

so, the next time you are out after the sunset, keep your eyes open for the demons of the nights and more adventures with theo.

the idea for theo came one day when I was out on a completly different job, I looked out over the typical Swedish fields. it was one of those rare, clear and beautyful days which we don´t se to many of here in sweden. I saw that scathered on the fields where large heaps of boulders. Big stones that formed small islands of grass and old withehered trees on the fertile fields. As an old voice from a distant time it came to me, WHAT LIES BENEATH THOSE STONES? As that thought sunk in, a new one emerged, WHO TAKES CARE OF THE ANCIENT EVILS THAT DWELLS UNDER OUR FEET?

Thats how Theo was born.

Ok, I admit, I´m a big fan of jacque tardi and hergé. my artistic style has always ben a bit tintinesque but I absolutely love Tardis fantastic stories. I want Theo´s world to be as exciting as a Jules Verne´s adventure And as breathtaking as a Doré illustration.

However, even thogh the characters are strange and out of this world, I want the locations to feel real. If Theo travels to Norway, it should look and feal like Norway. The world is to beautyful to be tampered with just for the cause of a story like this.
